Davao’s Majestic City Hall: Home to the Philippines’ Running Vice President Sara Duterte

After two decades of being the mayor of the city of Davao, Sara Duterte is now running for Vice President-elect of the Philippines.

Born and raised in Davao City, Duterte was known for her hard work and efficiency as the mayor of this city. She has a reputation for being tough on crime and corruption, and she is also known for her strong support for the military.

Sara Duterte, the daughter of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, has been in office since 2013, and the people of Davao called her, “Inday Sara” (Inday means dear).

Meanwhile, Davao City Hall looms majestically over the city, its imposing architecture a reminder of Davao’s history and prominence.

The hall is home to many important ceremonial events, such as the presentation of honors to visiting dignitaries.
