Reconnecting With My Youthful Days on a Bus Ride

It has been maybe 20 years since the last time I took a bus ride in the Philippines. I went to visit a friend about 3 hours from the city of Davao. I took the bus to bring back some memories I had when I was a teenager in this city.

My selfie while on the bus ride.

So I hop on into the bus. Good thing there is a social distancing implemented still at this time.

In the Philippines, there are 3 men or sometimes women who work on the bus. The driver, the conductor (the one who issues ticket fares), and the checker.

The conductor has issued me the ticket. it was PHP 53 pesos. I was alone in my row, so it was comfortable and the bus is fully airconditioned too.

The bus assistant issued me a ticket for my bus fare. My bus fare cost me PHP 53 pesos from Davao city to Panabo City here in Mindanao.

Many buses from the capital city of Mindanao operate from the Ecoland Bus terminal and travel to many other cities in Mindanao, like Digos, Cagayan De Oro City, Surigao, and many others cities in Mindanao.
