Just a 2 hours walk from Nofels, in Vorarlberg Austria.

A cold walk from Nofels to Schellenberg. Although it is summertime in Austria now, August of 2021, it is wet and cold.

My husband and I went for a walk entering the lush greens and small villages heading to Castle Ruins in Schellenberg, Liechtenstein from Nofels.

You will not miss the walking path as it has a good sign heading the Schellenberg.

Castle Ruins in Schellenberg

It was an easy walk of 2 plus hours when we arrived at the Castle and spend some time as we had some food with us.

I was walking around the castle ruins and it seems huge in dimension from the bottom to the top where the flag pole is. (Image below)

I pull out some info on the tourist website of Liechtenstein and it is mentioned that:

Schellenberg has two sets of castle ruins, the upper and the lower.
