A modern-day concert house is a perfect blend of old and new. Berlin Concert House, also known as the Konzerthaus, is one of Germany’s most famous concert halls in the heart of the capital.
Situated on Gendarmenmarkt square in central Mitte district.
The Konzerthaus is an architectural masterpiece in which old meets new, with its grand Romanesque facade built-in 1872 meeting modernity through its glass dome.
It has a capacity of 3, 620 seats and was designed by British architect Lord Norman Foster. The building features an undulating roof that covers its three auditoriums.
